Creditcrest LoanManager

A loan account replayed from its terms and what happened to it: every payment allocated, every day past due counted, and the Code’s limits on a small amount contract checked as it goes.

The contract

Printed on the page and carried in the link, so a reference and not a person’s name.

What Creditcrest Small Amount classified it as. It decides which provisions of the Code the ledger checks, so it is asked rather than guessed from the amount.

Dollars.

Dollars, charged when the credit is advanced and owed across the repayments.

Dollars a month. The schedule carries one for each month commencing before the last repayment, counted from the day of entry, as s 31A(1)(b) runs them.

Per cent a year; 30 means 30%. A medium amount contract only — interest accrues daily on the principal and is charged on each due date. On a small amount contract the Code forbids any, and none is charged.

Left empty, the later of the last event and the last due date — not today, so that the same link shows the same account next month.

What happened to it

Each line is an id, a day, a kind of event, then an amount, a part or “of” an earlier id as the kind needs, and anything after a bar is the reason. The kinds: payment — Money received from the borrower. Needs an amount. fee — A default or other account-level fee charged. Needs an amount and a part: dishonourFee, collectionFee or otherFee. waiver — Part of a balance given up by the lender. Needs an amount, a part and a reason. refund — Credit on the account paid back to the borrower. Needs an amount and a reason. reversal — An earlier event undone in full — a dishonoured payment, a fee charged in error. Needs `reverses`, the id of that event, and a reason. hardship-start — A hardship arrangement the lender agreed and recorded, starting this day. Needs a reason, the day it ends (`until`) and a fixed payment plan (`plan`). Days past due are frozen at the figure they stood at the day before it began. hardship-end — An arrangement ended before its end day — the plan broken, or the borrower back on their feet. Needs a reason. An arrangement that reaches its end day ends by itself, and days past due count on from the frozen figure the day after, if anything is still in arrears.

In arrears as at 10 Jan 2027

31–60 days past due 40 days past due.

$1,094.99 owed

$1,094.99 outstanding.

$480.02 in arrears, 40 days past due — counted from the day after 1 Dec 2026, the oldest repayment not fully paid.

And $15.00 of fees charged to the account — not to a repayment — is unpaid. It is owed now, and it is not counted in the days past due, which run on repayments.

Not in this figure: Monthly fees not yet charged. Section 31C forbids requiring or accepting a monthly fee for a month commencing after payout; a fee for a month that has commenced and not been charged is left for the lender to claim on its own reading of s 31A(1)(b).

What the Code says about these figures

The repayments

Scheduled is the instalment the contract sets. Owed so far is what the row is owed today: principal and the establishment fee from the start, and the parts charged on a due date — the monthly fee, interest — only once charged, and at what was actually charged, so a row not yet due shows less than its instalment. On an interest-bearing contract the scheduled interest is an estimate; the daily accrual is what is charged.
