Creditcrest Statement

A bank statement read into income, commitments, expenses and the facts an assessor should be told — with the transactions behind every figure.

A bank statement goes in. What comes out is income, commitments, expenses and the facts an assessor should be told, with the transactions behind every figure — and then, if you ask, what the arithmetic says that borrower could service. It does not decide anything.

What happens to the file. It is read while the request is open and then it is gone. Nothing is written to disk, nothing is written to a log, nothing is put in a database — there is no database here to put it in. Nothing about the statement goes into the address bar either, so this reading has no link, which means there is no link to leak.

The cost of that is honest too. Reload and the reading is gone. Asking the capacity question below re-sends the statement from your browser, because there is nothing on this end to refer back to.

No account, no email address, no cookie, no analytics, and nothing on this page is fetched from anywhere. The only thing that leaves this server is the page itself.

CSV as the bank exports it. Four megabytes, which is a great many years of transactions. Which exports this reads.

Header row or no header row, either way round. Nothing typed here is kept.

Optional. What the application or the payslip says arrives each month, after tax — what lands in a bank account is already after tax, so a gross figure here produces a difference that is only the tax. Left blank, nothing is reconciled and the page says so.

Optional, free text, recorded word for word and attributed to you. Nothing here reads a document.

or see it working on an invented example:

A fortnightly wage that moves with the hours worked, rent, a few direct debits, groceries and the spending everybody has. A correct reading of it flags nothing serious, which is the point of showing it first.

Both are invented. Neither is anybody's data.

What this can read

CBA, NAB, ANZ, Westpac, ING, Up, Macquarie: an export of each of those shapes is read by the tests, and Bendigo is not. The reader works out the layout from the data rather than from the bank's name, so a file from a bank nobody here has heard of usually reads too, and one that does not read is refused with its layout named rather than reported as figures it might not be. The whole table, with the evidence behind each row.
